Amber Stevens west
Amber Dawn Stevens West, born on the 7th of October, 1986 in Los Angeles, is an American actress. Her roles include Ashleigh Howard on ABC Family's Greek (2007-2011), Maxine on the NBC series The Carmichael Show (2015) and Claire Davis on CBS' Happy Together (2018-2019). She also appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and 22 Jump Street (2014). In 2018, she played the role of Maya in Love Jacked, a comedy film. Stevens West was born Amber Dawn Stevens in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of former model Beverly Cunningham and radio announcer Shadoe Stevens. She is one younger sister named Chyna as well as an older paternal half brother named Brad. Stevens is of mixed heritage, being born to a Caucasian father and an African-American mom who is also a Comanche. Stevens West graduated from Beverly Hills High School. In the beginning of her career, she appeared in television commercials for Old Navy Verizon, Logitech and Neutrogena. She made her television acting debut on the episode Complete Savages in 2005. Stevens West started playing Ashleigh Howard on the ABC Family comedy-drama TV series Greek in 2007. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette gave the show an excellent review, describing it as "light-hearted fun" that is "authentic" and The New York Times calling it "authentic" and that Greek "captures the reality of the hedge fund age is like none other." The series ended after four seasons on the 7th of March, 2011.She has appeared in films The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), Fired Up (2009), The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), The Kitchen (2012) and Jessabelle (2014).
