Tracy Spiridakos
Tracy Spiridakos (Canadian actress) is Tracy Spiridakos. She was a part of Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's series Majority Rules! From 2009 until 2010. She was on the screen from 2009 until the year 2010. Annika Johnson played Annika on the A&E television series Bates Motel. Spiridakos was a part of the cast as Detective Hailey Upton on the A&E TV drama Bates Motel. Spiridakos has portrayed Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was the daughter of restaurant owners George Spiridakos, who both were born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has two brothers. The family relocated to their father's home town, Skala, Greece south of Sparta within a couple of years after her birth but returned to Canada in 1992. She strongly identifies with her Greek family and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school. She also attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated from Oak Park High School. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She was offered her first television role within weeks, a small part with Supernatural. She continued to do television work, playing walk-on roles in Bionic Woman's The L Word, Hellcats, Psych and other shows. Spiridakos appeared in the TV movie Goblin and also in the web-based show Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Spiridakos has also appeared on Being Human as the werewolf Brynn McCLean. In 2009 she was cast as her first role in a starring part in the role of Becky Richards, a 15-year-old girl on Canadian Teletoon's Majority Rules! In 2011 she made her debut in feature films with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She was also the director of Kill for Me, a low-budget horror film by Michael Greenspan. The film featured Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy, and directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos played the role of Sammi in Rags (2012) which was a Nickelodeon original movie. Then she was offered a leading part in the NBC television series Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, an aspiring survivalist living in an unimaginative future society. In her pilot season, she auditioned for the role. Spiridakos shot her pilot in Atlanta. The pilot season was filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina. She was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television for her performance in the first season, losing out to Anna Torv of Fringe's Anna. For the second season, production moved to Austin Texas.
