Sofia Margarita Vergara
Sofia Margarita Vergara (Spanish: 10 July 1972) is a Colombian American actress, television producer, presenter and model. Vergara was the highest-paid actor on American television between 2013 to 2020. Vergara rose in prominence when she hosted two programs on Univision's Spanish-language TV network in the late 1990s. Chasing Papi (2003) was her first significant acting role in English. She then appeared in Four Brothers (2005) and Tyler Perry's comedy Meet the Browns (2008) and Madea Goes to Jail (2009) with an ALMA Award nomination for the last. She made her debut as Gloria Delgado–Pritchett on ABC's comedy series Modern Family in 2009. As a result of this role, she received four Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards. Her voice-over roles included Happy Feet Two (2011) and Escape from Planet Earth (2013). She was also a part of The Emoji Movie (2017). Vergara was also a top-paid Hollywood actress in 2020 [citation required]. Vergara is America's Got Talent judge since 2020. Vergara was born into an Roman Catholic family in Barranquilla. [8] Vergara's mother Margarita Vergara was a homemaker while her father Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo was a cattle rancher. Five of her siblings and a lot of her relatives have referred to her as "Toti". Vergara was an undergraduate at the National University of Colombia in dentistry. She then left after two semesters to pursue modeling opportunities and show business.
