Sarah Hyland
Sarah Hyland was born in New York City to actors Melissa D. Canaday and Edward James Hyland. At the age of 4 she got into the industry with voiceovers and commercials. The first film she made was Private Parts (1997). The Object of My Affection was her next film. She appeared on Another World (1964), as Rain Wolfe, a child who was found in a park and was fostered by Josie. Sarah continued to work alongside Amy Carlson ("Josie") numerous times: Falcone (2000) and Law & Order (1990) in addition to Law & Order: Trial by Jury (2005). Sarah was cast in Jennifer Love Hewitt's The Audrey Hepburn Story(2000) as one of the younger Audrey Hepburns. The following year, she was featured in ABC's The Wonderful World of Disney: Annie (1999), starring Audra McDonald, Victor Garber, Kristin Chernoweth, Joe Guld's Secret ((2000) and Falcone ((2000)). Sarah took classes in jazz tap, hip hop, Theatre Dance and voice. She also performed with her tap class and Theatre class at "Reel to Real" at Lincoln Center as invited performers. Sarah was born in New York and raised in New York. Her mother raised her until she was two years of age. She went on to public schools. She was admitted in the 6th year to PPAS (Professional Performing Arts School) which she attended until her graduation in 2008. When Sarah was 18 years old, she moved to Los Angeles, CA and, within two weeks, had landed a pilot named "My American Family". After being accepted as a pilot, the pilot's name changed to Modern Family (2009). Sarah is currently "Haley Dunphy", an the oldest Dunphy children. Modern Family (2009) has been awarded numerous times, including the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series.
