Elizabeth Leigh Vassey

Elizabeth Leigh Vassey (born August 9th in 1972) is an American actress. She was the character of Emily Ann Sago on the television series All My Children, Captain Liberty in the 2001 TV show The Tick as well as Wendy Simms on the television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Nikki Beaumont is the web-based series Nikki & Nora. Vassey was the teenager Emily Ann Sago in All My Children between 1988 and 1991. She was a frequent character on the popular television show Tru Calling, as Dr. Carrie Allen. She also appeared in several seasons and episodes of Two and a Half Men. Vassey played Wendy Simms' recurring role on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation from 2005 until 2010. Vassey was elevated from a regular cast member to the Wendy Simms character in the tenth season and began appearing in the show's opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported June 1 the 1st of June, 2010 that Vassey did not return for the show's 11th season. She guested in one episode of that season.Vassey appeared in a cameo appearance on Joss Whedon's musical on the web, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along blog with the name "Fury Leika". Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, together with co-star Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company called Neurosis to the T(ee) that makes and sells slogan-covered T-shirts for women. The slogans are often humorous and are a reference to female anxieties and neuroses.
