Missy Peregrym Bio
Missy was born in Montreal, Quebec. She spent the majority of her life in Surrey, British Columbia with her father (a minister) and mother (a sister and two brothers). When she was 18, she started modeling and began her career in front cameras. The print advertisements soon turned into commercials for Mercedes Benz, Sprint Canada and even the Olympics. Hollywood was soon arriving on the scene. Her first guest appearance was on the action-drama show Dark Angel (2000), with Jessica Alba. She followed that with the role of Julia on the critically-acclaimed television series The Chris Isaak Show (2001). The show then offered her the role as Tory Stratton, Black Sash's leading lady in 2003. She also played prominent roles in the shows Life as We Know It (2004) and Reaper (2007). Missy starred as Haley Graham in the 2006 gymnastics film Stick It (2006). She also starred as the police officer Andy McNally in ABC's prime-time cop show Rookie Blue (2010). A committed soccer player, Missy's schedule has required her to spend time away from the sport however, she continues to play games whenever she can. She enjoys snowboarding, and outdoor sports in the Vancouver mountains. She resides in Vancouver with her family.
